Lick was started in 2004 by Grant and Carina Lew. Grant, a chef developed a Baileys and Berry Ripple Ice Cream for his baby wife. Many friends and family tasted  his creation and told him how amazing this ice cream was and encouraged him to start a business. All the ingredients in the ice cream are fresh and hand churned (there are no machines in this ice cream factory).


In 2019 the Lew family sold the business to another local Brisbane family who plan to keep the integrity of the ice cream and grow the frozen dessert market. The chefs in the kitchen all remain excited about where the future of this amazing tasting,  locally handcrafted ice cream is headed.
